The First Myopia Prevention and Control Center for Children and Adolescents in Shaanxi Province Opens in Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park！

On the afternoon of November 27, 2020, the signing ceremony of the cooperative project "Myopia Prevention and Control Center for Children and Adolescents" between Xi'an International Land Port Investment & Development Group Co., Ltd. (ITL Group) and Xi'an People's Hospital (Xi'an Fourth Hospital) was grandly held in Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park.

Liu Shunzhi, secretary of the Party Committee and director of Xi'an Municipal Health Commission, Li Xingzhou, president of Xi'an People's Hospital (Xi'an Fourth Hospital), Su Guofeng, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park, and Qu Jinwei, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of ITL Group , as well as other leaders , attended the signing ceremony.

The two sides held exchanges and discussions on the eye health industry, aiming to understand the strategic significance of myopia prevention and control among children and adolescents from the perspective of improving people's health quality, thus implementing the Healthy Xi'an 2030 Plan. Actions will be taken to promote an eye health industrial environment within the park. With the advantage of policies for the pilot free trade area, attempts to introduce advanced visual health services technology, equipment, products, etc., will be taken to build a demonstration base for the visual health industry. By taking advantage of each other's strengths, the demonstration base will be developed into a banner for myopia prevention and control for children and adolescents in Shaanxi Province.

The Myopia Prevention and Control Center for Children and Adolescents is designed with consultation rooms, optometry rooms, instrument examination rooms, vision prevention and control education areas, VR training rooms, display and sales areas, and so on. The ITL Sports Park, located at the core position of Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park, is 1 kilometer away from the Bonded Area Station of Metro Line 3 and provides convenience for medical treatment in areas such as Chanba, Weiyang, Gaoling, Lintong, etc.

In the future, ITL and Xi'an Fourth Hospital will continue introducing new technologies and research methods to lead the myopia prevention and control for children and adolescents, so as to provide protective measures for their bright eyes!!
