New Routes Added to Chang’an Train, Shaanxi Enterprises Empowered for Going Global

On the afternoon of July 28,2020,the Signing Ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement Among Xi'an LONGi Silicon Materials Co., Ltd., DB Schenker, and ITL Group & Product Launch of theChina RailwayExpress (Chang'an) Central and Eastern Europe Route was held in the Multi-function Hall of the Administrative Committee of Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park.

Withthe successive operation of theGerman Expressand China Railway Express (Xi'an-Rostock-Verona,Gothenburg, Stockholm),Xi’an International Inland Port Multimodal Transportation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ITL Multimodal Transportation") subordinate toITL Group ran a new route, i.e., the China RailwayExpress (Chang'an) Central and Eastern Europe Route.

This new route is conducive to attracting more superior resources, further completing the network of "Chang'an" international freight train, and laying a solid foundation for building the China Railway Express (Xi'an) Collaboration Center.

Moreover, this route marks a "star route" ofChina RailwayExpress (Chang'an) following the "China Railway Express China-Europe Public Trains, German Express, and China Railway Express (Xi'an-Rostock-Verona, Gothenburg, Stockholm)".

The "Central and Eastern Europe Route" consists of three parts, namely the express route to Central and Eastern Europe, the routetoPan -Eastern Europe, and the route to Kyiv (Odessa). The new route realizes full coverage by adopting the operation mode of combining the artery with the branch lines.Specifically, the express route to Central and Eastern Europe departs from Xi'an to Budapest, Hungary via Chop, Ukraine, which costs only 13 days for the whole journey; the route to Pan-Eastern Europe dispatches trains to Vienna in Austria, Ploieşti in Romania, Istanbul in Turkey, and other cities, covering the entire territory of Eastern Europe; the route to Kyiv (Odessa) costs 10 days to directly arrive at Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Xi'an LONGi Silicon Materials Co., Ltd., DB Schenker, and ITL Group signed the strategic cooperation agreement.The strategic partnership among the three parties established at this ceremony has promoted the combination of industrial implementation and development ofChina RailwayExpress, and facilitated enterprises in Shaanxi going global.
